Our company's name has a long history and its sources are in Germanic mythology. Three norns, usually shown as three maidens, Urd, Verdandi and Skuld, spun or wove the fate of man. Their names, all derived from Scandinavian language, are descriptions of their functions.
Urd meant "what has happened".
Verdandi was a verb form of the Old Scandinavian word "vertha" - "to become".
Skuld stood for "what shall come to pass".
Urd represented the past and Skuld was responsible for the future. Verdandi stood for the present - however, not as a static entity, but as a dynamic domain in continual evolution.
The description of continuous development is exactly the concept with which we want to be associated. We understand Quality Management as a catalyst of continual advancement in a dynamic world.
Today, Verdandi helps you become what you intend to be tomorrow.
